Houchens Industries Price Less Grocery

In 2024 Houchens Industries contracted with Energy Efficient Technologies to validate the savings and carbon footprint reductions for their 400 grocery store chain.

Below are the results of efficiency improvements by age of equipment based on ASHRAE and the Department of Energy recommended testing method to compare equipment before and after an energy conservation measure is deployed. This is the International performance measurement and verification Protocol (IPMVP, Option B) on 2 rooftop DX machines.  These are savings produced every time the unit runs, every year, for the life of the machines:
