At this facility, Dover Care Center, over 1050 new LED lamps and fixtures were installed. In addition to the direct reduction in energy usage from using lower wattage lamp, the total heat load in the facility is reduced as well meaning the HVAC system does not have to operate as long to remove heat from the building. In total between the reduced wattage and heat load it is estimated that this facility will have a reduction in excess of 140,000 kWh used per year.
